January 5-7, 2024, Biosphere 2, Oracle, AZ, USA
Please join us at the 33rd Western Photosynthesis Conference 2024. This conference will be held from January 5-7, 2024, at the Biosphere 2 in Oracle, AZ, situated in the beautiful foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains in the Sonoran Desert. The Western Photosynthesis Conference (WPC) is an annual meeting that caters to a large group of scientists in the Western states that broadly work on the topic of photosynthesis in plants, algae, bacteria, and artificial systems. The WPC normally draws about 80 attendees each year, with the goal of offering the opportunity for younger scientists (students, postdocs) and early career faculty to connect in a warm and friendly environment. We also strive to invite excellent speakers working on the most exciting aspects of photosynthesis, including molecular biology, biochemistry, genomics, evolution, and engineering.
